Uniquely shaped Art Nouveau vase by G. Méténier
Son of a potter, Gilbert Méténier settled in Gannat in Allier, in the 1900s. He produced utilitarian ceramic pieces there, but above all decorative pieces in flamed stoneware with iridescent and metallic reflections. It is decorated with successive layers of colored enamels.
