For me, art and collecting stem from the same impulse.
I am drawn to a certain idea of beauty—one that becomes impossible to define the moment it is explained. Something elusive yet accessible, extraordinary yet often overlooked.
Art can bring this quality into the world through creation. Certain objects seem to possess it already. My work as both an artist and collector is guided by a search for those moments where something quietly reveals more than itself.
Although they take different forms, they are part of the same search.
Whether I am making a work, selecting an object, or helping shape a space, I am ultimately interested in presence, character, atmosphere, and meaning. The medium changes, but the underlying sensibility remains the same.
There is no formula.

I trust intuition as much as analysis.
Beyond aesthetics, I believe there is value in extending the life of well-made objects.
Many second-hand pieces offer a richness of material, craftsmanship, and character that can be difficult to find in contemporary mass-produced alternatives.
They are often available at comparable prices while retaining a stronger sense of identity and, in some cases, long-term value.
Second-hand is not a compromise. Often, it is the better option.
Yes.
While my artistic practice remains central, I occasionally collaborate with individuals, collectors, homeowners, designers, and businesses when there is a shared interest in creating something thoughtful and meaningful.
